CONTRACT/PROJECT SUPPORT VACANCY
The position is full time and offered on a temporary basis (6 months minimum).
Hours of work: 37.5 per week

We are seeking a well-organised and confident communicator to support the administration and processing of client instructions from job specification to arranging site works.
The role requires an eye for detail and a methodical approach. Experience of the tree works industry is not essential.
Proficiency in the use of MS Office programs will be expected and full training will be provided in the use of our in-house job management system and in the delivery of the broader job handler role.
The position is based at our office in Horsley, to the west of Newcastle upon Tyne and within easy reach of the A69/A1 road links where free parking is provided on site.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Supporting the administration and processing of information from clients into tree work specifications
Drafting and issuing works documents (quote requests / quotes to client / instruction documents
Communicating with clients, tree surgeons, and individual property owners by telephone, e-mail and letter
Tracking progress of individual jobs and updating job management systems
- This is a varied role requiring a flexible approach and a willingness to take on new tasks. Potential candidates must have:
- An eye for detail and a methodical approach to work
- Proficiency in the use of MS Office programmes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- An understanding of the role of job management systems (full training will be provided in the use of our in-house job management system)
- Experience of sub-contracting processes is desirable

OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR
The position is offered on a temporary basis (6 months minimum).
Hours: Full Time 37.5 hrs (9:00am – 5.00pm, Mon- Fri)
Reporting to: The Office Manager
We require an office administrator to join our team in Horsley (Tyne Valley).
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
Data entry & general administrative tasks
Assisting with insurance claims/project management
Liaising with clients & suppliers by phone, email & letter
Supporting consultant activities
Booking travel arrangements & appointments
This is a varied role requiring a flexible approach and a willingness to take on new tasks. Potential candidates must have:
- Excellent communication (written & verbal) and numerical skills
- Experience of MS Office programmes including Word, Outlook & Excel
- Professional telephone manner and be customer focused
- Ability to work on own initiative and contribute to team activities
Experience of insurance claims would be useful but not essential
Full training will be provided with the opportunity for a long term position.
